January 27, 2020 - The American Sportscasters Association mourns the loss of NBA legend Kobe Bryant, who died tragically in a helicopter crash on Sunday at the age of 41.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, the Lakers organization and the entire sports world during this most difficult time.

I'm sure many of our members had the opportunity to cover this basketball superstar during his illustrious 20-year career, which included five NBA Championships and 18 All-Star appearances.
